Project Overview
RouteLink is a logistics software platform built to help transportation businesses coordinate shipments, routes, drivers, and fleet operations from one connected environment. Dispatch teams can create shipments, assign deliveries, manage routes, monitor vehicle activity, and review delivery progress. Drivers can access assigned jobs, view route information, update shipment status, and report delivery activity through dedicated tools. Operations teams can monitor fleet performance, shipment records, schedules, and exceptions through an administrative dashboard. The platform was developed to replace fragmented logistics workflows with structured digital processes. Abhineh Infotech supported planning, UI UX design, development, integrations, testing, and deployment.
Project Idea
RouteLink was designed to connect shipment management, route planning, driver coordination, fleet visibility, and delivery tracking through a single logistics workflow.
Logistics teams often coordinate shipments, vehicles, drivers, routes, and delivery updates across multiple systems. This can make dispatching slower and make it harder to maintain visibility across active deliveries. RouteLink needed to bring these activities together while keeping individual workflows straightforward for dispatchers and drivers.
Abhineh Infotech connected shipment creation, dispatching, route planning, driver assignment, fleet information, delivery updates, and operational controls through a unified architecture. Shared backend services helped maintain consistent information across dispatcher and driver interfaces while allowing operations teams to monitor delivery activity from a central environment.
The product principle focused on clarity, speed, and confidence. Dispatchers needed immediate access to shipment and fleet information, while drivers needed clear job instructions and delivery updates. Focused interfaces and structured status information helped users understand active work and respond to changes efficiently.

Challenges
RouteLink supported dispatchers, drivers, fleet managers, and administrators with different responsibilities. Dispatchers needed shipment and assignment controls, drivers required focused delivery workflows, and managers needed broader fleet visibility. The platform had to provide relevant information to each role without creating unnecessary interface complexity.
Logistics data changes frequently across shipments, addresses, routes, vehicles, drivers, delivery statuses, schedules, and exceptions. The system required consistent data handling across multiple interfaces so that operational updates could be reflected accurately throughout shipment and fleet workflows.
Delivery activity can increase significantly during busy operating periods, creating higher demands on dispatching, tracking, route updates, and status processing. RouteLink required efficient backend services, real time communication, caching, and scalable infrastructure to maintain responsive performance as shipment and fleet activity increased.

Shipment Management
Create shipments, manage delivery information, review shipment status, and maintain organised records throughout the logistics lifecycle.
Route Planning
Dispatch teams can organise delivery routes, review route information, and coordinate assigned shipments for scheduled journeys.
Driver Management
Manage driver profiles, assignments, availability, and relevant delivery information through dedicated fleet operations tools.
Fleet Controls
Track vehicle information, assignments, operational status, and fleet activity through structured management interfaces.
Delivery Tracking
Monitor shipment progress and delivery status through timely updates across dispatcher and driver workflows.
Operations Dashboard
Gain central visibility into shipments, drivers, vehicles, routes, schedules, and logistics activity through administrative controls.

Results
RouteLink launched as a connected logistics platform covering shipment management, dispatching, route planning, driver coordination, fleet controls, delivery tracking, and administration. The delivered product brought core logistics activities into one structured operational environment.
Centralised logistics tools gave dispatch teams clearer visibility into shipments, routes, drivers, vehicles, and delivery status. This helped reduce fragmented workflows and provided operations teams with a more consistent way to monitor and manage active logistics activity.
Drivers gained focused access to assigned shipments, route information, delivery instructions, and status updates. Dispatchers could also follow operational changes through central interfaces, creating a clearer connection between planning, execution, and delivery progress.
The platform established a foundation for further logistics capabilities. Its architecture can support fleet analytics, automated dispatching, route optimisation, shipment notifications, driver performance reporting, proof of delivery, and additional operational workflows as RouteLink evolves.
