Project Overview
FarePilot is a flight booking platform designed to simplify how travellers search, compare, and manage air travel. Users can create profiles, search available flights, compare fares, review schedules, select preferred options, complete bookings, and access itinerary details from one platform. Travel operations teams can manage flight information, booking records, customer activity, and support workflows through administrative tools. The product was built to bring flight discovery and reservation management into a more organised digital journey. Abhineh Infotech supported FarePilot across product planning, UI UX design, application development, flight data integrations, booking workflows, testing, and deployment.
Project Idea
FarePilot was designed to make flight discovery and booking easier by connecting search, fare comparison, itinerary management, payments, and operational workflows in one platform.
Flight booking involves multiple information points, including routes, schedules, fares, baggage details, passenger information, availability, and booking status. FarePilot needed to bring these elements together without overwhelming travellers, while giving operational teams the tools required to manage booking activity.
Abhineh Infotech connected flight search, fare data, passenger details, booking, payment processing, itinerary management, notifications, and administrative workflows through an integrated platform architecture. This allowed information from connected flight services to move into a consistent booking journey while keeping important travel details accessible.
The product principle focused on clarity, speed, and confidence. Travellers needed to compare options quickly, understand fare details, and complete reservations with fewer unnecessary steps. Clear itinerary information and consistent booking states also helped users understand what had been selected, confirmed, or changed.

Challenges
FarePilot supported travellers and internal teams with different requirements and permissions. Travellers needed simple search, comparison, booking, and itinerary tools, while operational users required broader access to reservations, customer records, flight information, and support workflows.
Flight information can change frequently across schedules, fares, seat availability, baggage rules, passenger details, and booking status. The platform needed structured processing and validation to maintain consistent information across search results, booking screens, confirmation records, and operational interfaces.
Flight search can generate substantial request volumes, particularly during seasonal travel periods and promotional activity. FarePilot required efficient API handling, caching, search optimisation, and scalable infrastructure to maintain responsive flight discovery, fare comparison, booking, and itinerary workflows.

Results
FarePilot launched as a connected flight booking platform covering flight search, fare comparison, passenger information, booking, payments, itinerary management, and administrative workflows. The delivered product brought important stages of flight reservation into one structured experience.
Centralised booking information gave operational teams clearer visibility into reservations, traveller records, payment activity, and flight related data. This helped create more consistent processes for reviewing bookings, handling customer requests, and monitoring reservation activity.
Travellers gained a more organised journey from flight search through booking confirmation. Clear fare information, flight details, passenger forms, payment steps, and itinerary access helped users understand each stage before and after completing a reservation.
The platform established a foundation for future travel product expansion. Its architecture can support additional flight services, loyalty features, booking options, traveller tools, fare capabilities, notifications, and operational reporting as FarePilot evolves.
